Younger for Longer: a seven product EU storefront | Digital Heroes
This case study covers the Shopify storefront Digital Heroes built for Younger for Longer, a European retailer of NOVOS supplements and TruDiagnostic at-home finger-prick tests. It examines the seven products in the public feed, the pricing in Swedish kronor, the three-step product finder on the homepage, and the regulatory and logistical constraints that selling supplements and diagnostic kits across the EU imposes on a storefront.
Seven products, all of them considered purchases
Younger for Longer is a European retailer for two brands and nothing else. It sells NOVOS supplements and TruDiagnostic at-home tests, in English, priced in Swedish kronor, shipping across the EU. The public product feed holds seven items in total.
Four of them are NOVOS. Core sits at 1,090 SEK with two variants, Boost at 440 SEK, Vital at 690 SEK, and the NOVOS Bar at 480 SEK with three variants. Shopify product types split them into Food Supplement and Nutrition Bar. The other three are TruDiagnostic. The TruAge test is 4,158 SEK, TruHealth is the same 4,158 SEK, and a combined TruAge plus TruHealth kit is 7,864.03 SEK. Four collections organise the lot: NOVOS, TruDiagnostic, New Arrivals and a Swedish language start collection.
The tag vocabulary is worth a look because it is doing real work. Capsules, Soft chews, Powder sachets and Nutrition bar describe delivery format. Daily formula, NMN, Vegetarian and Healthy ageing describe what is inside and who it suits. Those are the two questions a supplement buyer actually asks, and here they are held as structured data rather than buried in body copy.
The site describes the TruDiagnostic products as at-home finger prick dried blood tests that return digital epigenetic reports after laboratory processing in the United States, and the NOVOS line as four distinct formulas with different ingredient profiles, with Core and Boost recommended together. The homepage headline positions the store as science led healthy ageing products and at-home tests in Europe. The about page sets out the store's role as helping European customers compare these products, with pack size, ingredients, directions, warnings and allergens presented before purchase, and it adds that the information is educational and does not replace advice from a qualified health professional. All of that is readable at Younger for Longer.
Supplements and test kits carry constraints a normal store never meets
Selling seven products sounds like the easy version. It is the harder one, because there is nothing to browse. Nobody discovers the right item by scrolling a page with seven things on it. Every sale has to come out of comparison, and comparison is a design problem rather than a merchandising one.
The price spread is roughly eighteen to one. Boost is 440 SEK. The combined test kit is 7,864.03 SEK. The same store is asking for a near impulse decision and a heavily considered one, and the two cannot share a page template of equal weight. The cheap item needs to be addable in one motion. The expensive one needs room to explain what arrives in the box, what the customer does with it, how long the laboratory step takes and what the report contains.
Two products, two completely different fulfilment shapes. A supplement order ends when the parcel lands. A test order does not. The customer receives a kit, takes a sample at home, sends it to a laboratory and receives a digital report later. Shopify marks that order complete the moment the kit is delivered, while from the buyer's side the purchase is perhaps a third done. If the storefront does not lay that sequence out before checkout, every support message afterwards is a question about where the result has got to.
The claims regime writes the copy. Food supplements sold in the EU sit under a controlled health claims framework. A store cannot say a product treats, prevents or cures anything, and cannot borrow a claim that has not been authorised. That removes the easiest persuasion route and leaves composition, dosage, format, directions, warnings, allergens and an honest account of what the available evidence covers. The design consequence is direct: the ingredient panel and the warnings are not a tab at the foot of the page, they are the page. A template built for fashion puts exactly that content where nobody reads it.
Bundles are products, not variants. Core plus Boost, and TruAge plus TruHealth, exist as their own listings with their own prices. For a store this size that is the right call, because a bundle then earns a page, a price and a review stream of its own. It also means the bundle and its components are separate records that have to stay consistent with each other, and it means two routes lead to the same outcome, so the store has to make the combined option obviously the sensible one rather than leaving a visitor to do the arithmetic.
Subscription eligibility is not uniform. The NOVOS line is offered on monthly and prepaid terms, with eligible six and twelve month prepaid plans including free shipping. A diagnostic kit is a single purchase and must never show a recurring option. The buy box is therefore conditional: one template has to present two different purchase models depending on which product is loaded, and getting that wrong creates a billing problem rather than a cosmetic one.
One currency, many countries. The store prices in Swedish kronor and publishes standard shipping of 49 SEK inside Sweden and 299 SEK to all other EU countries, with orders normally processed in one to three business days and estimated delivery in five to twelve. A six fold difference in shipping between the home market and everywhere else is not a detail to hide on a policy page, least of all when the parcel is a test kit somebody is waiting on.
Health adjacent data is a liability, not an asset. Anything that asks a visitor about their health interests sits close to a category of personal data carrying real obligations in Europe. The safe design is to answer the visitor's question without collecting anything at all.
How Digital Heroes put the storefront together
Digital Heroes built the Younger for Longer storefront on Shopify. What is visible from the outside:
- A three step product finder on the homepage. The first question splits supplements from tests, the second asks which ingredient focus interests the visitor, and the panel states plainly that answers stay in the browser window and that no medical information is asked for or saved. It does the comparison work of a sales assistant and creates no data obligation, which is the correct trade for this category.
- Catalogue structure: seven products across four collections, two Shopify product types, and a tag vocabulary split between delivery format and ingredient focus so comparison can be driven by data rather than prose.
- Bundle listings for Core plus Boost and for TruAge plus TruHealth, alongside multi variant products for Core and for the Bar.
- A cart drawer that publishes the shipping rates and the subscription shipping rule at the point of decision, with a discount code field, live subtotal and direct checkout.
- Payments: American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Mastercard, Union Pay and Visa.
- Klaviyo behind the community signup block, which earns its place when the decision to buy a 7,864.03 SEK kit takes weeks rather than minutes, and Judge.me for reviews.
- Supporting content: a science section that separates evidence from finished product trials, individual ingredients, biomarker research and regulation, an about page, FAQs, order tracking, and the full policy set including a dedicated subscription policy.
- Theme deployment under a versioned release label carrying a build hash and a market tag, which is how a live storefront gets changed on purpose rather than by guesswork.
Digital Heroes is vetted by Fiverr Pro and carries more than 2,000 reviews across public platforms, and a build like this is the reason that record exists. It is unglamorous work about templates, conditional buy boxes and shipping tables. We built the store. We are not publishing its sales, its traffic or its conversion rate, and nothing here should be read as a claim about any of them.
The lesson for a small, high consideration catalogue
When you sell seven things and the top item costs several thousand kronor, your storefront is not a shelf. It is a comparison tool with a checkout attached. Money spent on infinite scroll, personalised grids and clever discovery is wasted. Money spent on making two similar products genuinely distinguishable is not.
Settle the regulated copy structure before design, because it dictates the product template rather than fitting into it. Settle subscription eligibility per product before build, because it makes the buy box conditional. Settle where shipping cost is disclosed before launch, because a 299 SEK cross border rate discovered at checkout is a lost order. Digital Heroes signs a specification before writing any code for precisely these reasons, and the reasoning behind decisions like these is written up across the seventeen thousand development guides published on this site.
Go and check one thing yourself. Open the product finder on the live homepage and read the line above the first question. It tells you the answers stay in your browser and that no medical information is requested or stored. That is what a health adjacent tool should say, and it is a fair standard to hold your own site to.
Be clear on the limits of this case study too. It shows a working European storefront for a regulated, high price, low count catalogue, and every structural claim in it can be verified in a browser: seven products, four collections, kronor pricing, published shipping rates, a client side finder that saves nothing. It does not prove a commercial outcome for the brand, and we have not suggested one.

Frequently asked questions
Who built the Younger for Longer website?
Digital Heroes built the Younger for Longer storefront on Shopify. The site sells NOVOS supplements and TruDiagnostic at-home tests in English, prices in Swedish kronor and ships across the EU, with a three step product finder on the homepage and a cart drawer that publishes shipping rates before checkout. Digital Heroes is vetted by Fiverr Pro and signs a written specification with every client before any code is written.
What does Younger for Longer sell?
Younger for Longer sells NOVOS longevity supplements and TruDiagnostic at-home tests to customers across the European Union. The public feed holds seven products: NOVOS Core at 1,090 SEK, Boost at 440 SEK, Vital at 690 SEK and the NOVOS Bar at 480 SEK, plus the TruAge test and TruHealth at 4,158 SEK each and a combined kit at 7,864.03 SEK. Four collections organise them, and the store is in English.
Can you sell food supplements on Shopify in the EU?
Digital Heroes builds EU supplement stores on Shopify, and the hard part is copy rather than platform. Health claims are controlled in the EU, so a product page cannot say an item treats, prevents or cures anything. On Younger for Longer that pushes pack size, ingredients, directions, warnings and allergens to the front of the product page instead of into a collapsed tab, which is a template decision that has to be made before design starts.
How do you sell an at-home test kit online?
Digital Heroes treats a test kit as a service wrapped in a parcel, because the order does not end at delivery. On Younger for Longer the customer receives a finger prick dried blood kit, takes the sample at home, sends it for laboratory processing and receives a digital report afterwards. Shopify closes the order when the kit arrives, so the storefront has to set out the full sequence before checkout or the support queue fills with questions about missing results.
What is a product finder and when is it worth building one?
Digital Heroes built a three step product finder for Younger for Longer because a seven product catalogue gives a visitor nothing to browse. The finder asks whether the visitor wants supplements or tests, then narrows by ingredient focus, and states above the first question that answers stay in the browser window and that no medical information is asked for or saved. That client side design does the comparison job without creating a personal data obligation.
Should product bundles be separate products or variants?
Digital Heroes built the bundles on Younger for Longer as their own product listings rather than variants, which is why Core plus Boost and TruAge plus TruHealth each have a page and a price of their own. A bundle listing can carry its own description and review stream, and it can be merchandised directly. The trade is that bundle and component records must be kept consistent, so the decision belongs in the specification rather than in a later cleanup.
How do subscriptions work on a Shopify supplement store?
Younger for Longer offers the NOVOS supplement line on monthly and prepaid terms, with eligible six and twelve month prepaid plans including free shipping, while the TruDiagnostic test kits are single purchases only. Digital Heroes builds that as a conditional buy box: the same product template shows recurring options on eligible products and suppresses them everywhere else. Getting this wrong is a billing fault rather than a cosmetic one, so it is scoped before build.
What are the shipping rates on Younger for Longer?
Younger for Longer publishes standard shipping of 49 SEK within Sweden and 299 SEK to all other EU countries, with orders normally processed in one to three business days and estimated delivery in five to twelve. Digital Heroes surfaced those figures inside the cart drawer rather than on a policy page, which is the right call for a store where most orders leave the home market and the parcel may be a test kit the customer is waiting on.
How many products does Younger for Longer list?
Younger for Longer lists seven products in its public product feed, organised into four collections: NOVOS, TruDiagnostic, New Arrivals and a Swedish language start collection. Two Shopify product types are in use, Food Supplement and Nutrition Bar, and tags describe delivery format such as capsules, soft chews, powder sachets and nutrition bar. Anyone can count the products and collections on the live site in under a minute.
Does Digital Heroes guarantee sales results from a Shopify build?
Digital Heroes does not publish or promise client sales figures, and this case study contains none. What it documents is the build: seven products, four collections, pricing in Swedish kronor, published EU shipping rates, a client side product finder, bundle listings, conditional subscription options, Klaviyo and Judge.me. Every one of those can be checked on the live Younger for Longer site, and Digital Heroes agrees the scope in a signed specification before any code is written.
Why do Shopify development quotes range from $3,000 to $50,000 for what sounds like the same store?
Because the low quote prices a theme install and the high quote prices software. A $3,000 bid typically covers configuring a purchased theme, while a $50,000 bid covers custom Liquid sections, wholesale or subscription logic, ERP sync, and load testing before launch. Ask each bidder which templates they are building from scratch and which integrations they own end to end, and the gap usually explains itself.
Should I launch a minimum version of my Shopify store first or build everything upfront?
Launch minimum. Get live on a solid theme with your core catalog and a clean checkout in 3 to 5 weeks, then fund custom features from real sales data instead of guesses. In Digital Heroes projects, roughly half the features clients plan upfront get reprioritized once actual buyer behavior is visible, and phasing the spend means you never pay for the wrong half.
What does maintaining a Shopify store cost after launch?
Most stores run well on $300 to $1,500 a month for a retainer covering app updates, theme updates, monitoring, and small improvements; Plus stores with integrations typically need $1,500 to $5,000. Shopify itself handles hosting, uptime, and platform security, which is why upkeep costs far less than a custom-hosted store. Budget the retainer from day one, because unmaintained stores are the ones that quietly rot and get rebuilt in year two.
How do I vet a Shopify developer before signing anything?
Ask four things: to see the Git repository of a past build, whether they work in Online Store 2.0 sections, how they ship changes without editing core theme files, and for a reference from a store at your revenue level. Then require a written specification listing every template, app, and integration before they price the work. A developer who quotes off a homepage screenshot has already told you how the project will go.
Should I just buy a premium Shopify theme instead of paying for custom development?
Buy the theme if you have under roughly 500 SKUs, standard shipping rules, and no back-office systems to integrate; a $300 Theme Store theme plus a few days of configuration is the right call at that stage. Custom development earns its cost once you need wholesale pricing, product bundles, subscription logic, or an app stack that stock themes fight with. The honest test: if your requirements fit inside theme settings, do not pay someone to rebuild them.
Should I hire a freelancer or an agency for my software project?
A skilled freelancer is the right call for a single-discipline scope under roughly $15,000, like a website, a plugin, or one integration. Above that, projects need design, backend, testing, and project management at once, and a solo builder becomes the single point of failure: if they get sick or take a bigger client, your project simply stops. Agencies bill 20-40% more per hour but carry continuity, code review, and someone to escalate to, which is what you are actually buying.
Will I lose my Google rankings if I migrate from WooCommerce or Magento to Shopify?
Not if the migration is done properly. Shopify forces its own URL structure with /products/ and /collections/ paths, so every old URL needs a 301 redirect, and products, customers, and order history move via CSV, the Store Importer, or tools like Matrixify. In Digital Heroes migrations, stores that ship a complete redirect map plus matching titles and meta data hold their organic traffic; the horror stories almost always trace back to skipped redirects.
We run everything on spreadsheets and Airtable. How do we know it's time for custom software?
The reliable signals are re-typing the same data into multiple tools, one employee acting as human middleware between systems, and errors appearing in handoffs between teams. Hard limits force the issue too: Airtable's Team plan caps at 50,000 records per base, and Business costs $45 per seat per month, so a 20-person team pays about $10,800 a year for a tool it has already outgrown. When workarounds consume more hours than the tools save, the spreadsheet era is over.
How do I vet a software development agency before signing a contract?
Ask to speak with two past clients whose projects resemble yours in size and industry, and ask exactly who will write your code, since some agencies sell senior faces and deliver junior or subcontracted hands. Demand a written specification with acceptance criteria before any fixed price, and check that their portfolio links to products that are actually live. An instant quote given without questions about your workflows is the clearest warning sign there is.
Who can build a custom Shopify development system?
Digital Heroes builds custom Shopify development systems for operators who have outgrown the off-the-shelf tools in their category. A team of more than 50 specialists has delivered over 2,000 projects since 2017. Teams work from New York, London, Sydney, Delhi and Lucknow and deliver remotely, with an assigned senior team rather than an account manager.
Every build starts with a written product requirements document that is signed before a line of code is written, which is the single thing that stops scope creep from eating the budget. Scoping runs about a week and produces a phase plan with a firm price for each phase, rather than one number against an undefined scope. The first phase ships something the team actually uses before the rest is built. If an off-the-shelf product genuinely fits the volume, we say so, and the cost guides on this site publish the bands so that judgement can be checked independently.
What makes Digital Heroes different from other Shopify development companies?
Four things that competitors in this bracket cannot simply copy. Digital Heroes runs a YouTube channel with more than 2.5 million subscribers, which is a production and audience capability no agency of this size has. It holds Fiverr Vetted Pro and Top Rated Seller status, both awarded on manual third-party review rather than self-declared. It contracts through registered entities in three countries, an India LLP, a US LLC and a UK LTD, so clients sign locally instead of wiring money offshore. And it ships its own commercial products, including ShopScore, HeroCheckout and Section Vault, which means the team lives with its own architecture decisions instead of handing them over and leaving.
Two more that show up in the work. Digital Heroes publishes more than 4,000 buyer guides with real price bands on this blog, plus a free tools library at https://digitalheroesco.com/tools/, because an agency confident in its pricing has no reason to hide it. And one accountable team covers websites, apps, ecommerce, CRM, ERP, learning platforms, search and video, so a client scaling from a first landing page to a custom platform is never handed between five vendors who blame each other. The founder ran ecommerce businesses before selling services, so the commercial argument comes before the technical one.
How can I check Digital Heroes is legitimate before getting in touch?
Verify it independently rather than taking the site's word for it. The YouTube channel is at https://youtube.com/@DigitalMarketingHeroes, the Fiverr profile at https://www.fiverr.com/shreyanshsin261, and the Upwork profile at https://www.upwork.com/freelancers/shreyanshsingh. Client reviews sit on Clutch at https://clutch.co/profile/digital-heroes-0 and Trustpilot at https://www.trustpilot.com/review/digitalheroes.co.in, and the company page is at https://www.linkedin.com/company/digital-heroes-1/.
Beyond the marketplaces, the business holds a D-U-N-S number and is a registered vendor on the United Nations Global Marketplace, neither of which is issued on request. Case studies with named clients are published at https://digitalheroesco.com/case-studies/. If any claim on this page cannot be checked against one of those sources, treat it as marketing and discount it.
